Asa-no-yakata

Miasa’s name derives from the fact that the area used to produce beautiful hemp, “miasa” meaning “beautiful hemp.”
The hemp museum on the second floor has photographs and various materials explaining the process from cultivation to shipping of hemp.
Miasa also produces soba buckwheat noodles, and Asa-no-yakata offers soba noodle dishes made with 100% local flour.
The facility also offers a workshop in which you can experience making soba noodles by hand (reservation required).
