Kanbashiragu Shrine
Kanbashira-gu Shrine is said to have been built in Umekita Village by Taira no Suemoto, who developed the "Shimazu-so" estate, in 1026 as a village shrine.
It is a popular spot that attracts many worshipers and tourists not just from the city but also from inside and outside Miyazaki Prefecture.
It hosts the "Okage Matsuri" festival every year in July.
