[Tokyo] Free Screening of the Film “Tenshi no Iru Toshokan” (Angel in the Library) & Product Fair “Blessings of the Katsuragi Region”
On October 11 (Sat) and 12 (Sun), 2025, the Nara Prefecture antenna shop “Nara Mahoroba-kan” in Shimbashi (Tokyo) will host a free screening of the 2017 film Tenshi no Iru Toshokan (Angel in the Library). A regional product fair titled “Blessings of the Katsuragi Region” will be held at the same time.
The film is set in the Katsuragi area of Nara Prefecture (Yamatotakada, Gose, Kashiba, Katsuragi, Koryo). Take this opportunity to discover the charm of Katsuragi!
About the Film
Synopsis
Sakura, a new librarian, begins working at a library in Katsuragi, Nara. One day, she learns of an elderly woman’s wish and decides to fulfill it. Through her encounters with local people, Sakura discovers the history and culture of the region and grows as a person.

About the Council: Formed by five neighboring municipalities; since FY2016 it has promoted the region through various initiatives, including producing the film Angel in the Library.
