Bring Nara’s Charm to Life! Souvenir Idea Contest


Overview
The Tourism Promotion Division of Nara Prefecture is hosting a Souvenir Idea Contest to transform the unique charm of Nara into creative products.
Anyone can apply—whether you are a company, sole proprietor, group, individual, or student.
We welcome:
- Original, unpublished ideas for souvenirs or services linked to the NHK Taiga Drama “Toyotomi Brothers!” (豊臣兄弟!) and its related sites in Nara.
- Improved versions of existing products, such as new packaging or size changes.

Eligibility
- Open to all, regardless of age, profession, or nationality.
- Applicants must present ideas with the potential to be commercialized.

September 1 (Mon) – October 17 (Fri), 2025, until 17:00 (JST)

Screening Process
- First round: Document screening (results announced in early November 2025)
- Second round: Presentations (to be held on November 28, 2025 (Fri) at the Nara Chamber of Commerce and Industry)
Grand Prize and Runner-up Prize winners will be selected.
