10th Katsuragi Sanroku Walk Returns on November 23, 2025

We are pleased to announce that the 10th Katsuragi Sanroku Walk will once again be held this year. Why not take a walk through the terraced rice fields that have been selected for the “Tsunagu Tanada Heritage – Pride of Our Hometown for the Future” program? To mark the 10th edition, special commemorative activities are also planned. We look forward to your participation.
About the Katsuragi Sanroku Walk
The Katsuragi Sanroku Walk is an approximately 10 km course that takes you through seven villages at the foot of Mt. Katsuragi. Along the way, local residents will stamp your stamp card, and you can enjoy the nature, local flavors, and history of the area. Each village offers highlights such as local sightseeing spots, sales of local specialties, and harvest experiences.

10th Anniversary Special Plan: “Sanroku Flower Decorations”
To commemorate the 10th Katsuragi Sanroku Walk, a special project called “Sanroku Flower Decorations” is planned. These flower decorations will be set up along the walking route—see if you can find them as you walk.
Try the Stamp Rally!
Collect stamps at all seven districts along the route. Participants who complete the entire course and collect all the stamps will receive a special commemorative gift for the 10th edition of the event.
Guided Walk
Members of the Katsuragi City Volunteer Guide Association will be on hand to provide guided commentary at several spots along the course.
Guide spots are as follows:
- Hakusei Shrine
- Oki-onji Temple
- Katsuragi-ni-imasu Honoikazuchi Shrine (Fuefuki Shrine)
