The Hugely Popular Moss Phlox Festival is Back Again This Year!
Following last year’s great success, we are pleased to announce that the Moss Phlox Festival will be held again in 2025!
Enjoy nine days of moss phlox viewing, both day and night!

Saturday, April 12th, 2025 – Sunday, April 20th, 2025
Daily from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM

Katsuragi Roadside Station, Multipurpose Plaza
Shiawase no Mori Park, Grass Area, Observation Deck
*During the Moss Phlox Festival, traffic congestion is expected in the surrounding areas. Please use temporary parking lots and public transportation.

① Special Live Performance by LUV K RAFT, Katsuragi City Tourism Ambassador
② Moss Phlox Illumination Lighting Ceremony
Guest: LUV K RAFT
A showing of the Renka-chan plushie will also take place.
③ Fuwa Fuwa Dome (*Until 4:00 PM)

① Moss Phlox Illumination Show
A special live performance by LUV K RAFT will be held.
Don’t miss this special illumination show using moving lights.
② Stamp Rally & Prize Drawing
Participate in a stamp rally connecting three locations: “Michinoeki Katsuragi,” “Shiawase no Mori Park,” and “Umenoyado Brewery.”
Collect stamps to enter a prize drawing.
We have many prizes available, including plushies of Katsuragi City’s official mascot character “Renka-chan” and local specialties. We look forward to your participation!
* The number of stamp rally cards is limited and will be distributed while supplies last.
Access
During the festival period, the parking lot at Katsuragi Roadside Station is expected to be crowded.
If you are coming by car, please use the temporary parking lots (former Nara Prefectural Social Education Center site, Honmichi Parking).
Shuttle buses will be operating on Saturday, April 12th and Saturday, April 19th, so please take advantage of them.

About Parking
The parking lot at Katsuragi Roadside Station will be available, but welfare facilities, convenience stores, and other vacant lots are not parking areas for the Moss Phlox Festival.
Please do not park in these areas as it will cause inconvenience.
Thank you for your cooperation.
About Community Buses
During the festival period, especially on the main event days of Saturday, April 12th and Saturday, April 19th, significant congestion is expected. Therefore, some stops on the Kanjo Line route and the Mini Bus D Teraguchi route will be skipped.
Additionally, bus services may be delayed due to traffic congestion in the surrounding areas.
