Hasunuma River ("Miya-san's river")

The source of Hasunuma River is Kohama pond in Rakujuen Park, and the water under Mt. Fuji springs up from there.
The river is called by its nickname "Miya-san's river" because Rakujuen Park in the old days was used as a second residence of Komatsu-no-miya who was emperor's family.
Its beautiful scenery is kept through activities including planting flowers and cleaning by regional volunteers.
In addition, bronze statues created by local sculptors and handmade water mills are placed around the walking path, making it more pleasant.
