Two important Burmese national treasures were donated to this temple

People believe that the Saikoji temple confers spiritual, mental and physical energy on those who visit.
There is a large “Kaya tree”, which is also called “Japanese torreya”, that is 750 years old in the precinct of Saikoji temple.
The temple sells the fruit of the Kaya tree as amulets that are purported to have the power to protect their holders.
Prime Minister Néwin of Burma donated two Burmese national treasures: a statue of the Gautama Buddha, and a harp, to the Japanese person who contributed to Burma’s independence a symbol of peace.
