Kuragari Pass

Karagari Pass is located on the main road in Nara.
From Nikenchaya located in Tamatsukuri in Osaka, head east to cross the Kawachi Plain, and pass through Mount Ikoma from Toyoura, coming out at Yamato.
It is a shortcut from Osaka to Nara.
It was developed as as an important traffic route during the Edo era.
Thanks to the people participating in the pilgrimage to Ise, the pass is very lively.
The stone paving from olden days is still there as well.
The slope is known for its steep incline, and many people visiting the pass take videos to post on social media.
