21 Seiki-no-Mori Park

In 21 Seiki no Mori Park, which has a hiking course, there are around 100 kabusugi cedar trees of varying sizes growing naturally.
When kabusugi cedar trees are repeatedly logged, each time sprouts grow from the trunk, resulting in this kind of tree.
At a height of between 2 to 6m, one stump splits into many branches, with some having as many as over 20 large branches spreading out.
Some of these trees are 400-500 years and some of their stumps having a diameter of over 1m.
In addition, the park also boasts the sight of 100,000 hydrangea that bloom in late June.
