The expanded viewing area is designed to help spread crowds across the waterfront and make it easier for visitors to move around safely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Yokosuka Friendship Day Will Not Be Held on the Same Day in 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Yokosuka Friendship Day<\/strong> open-base event at U.S. Navy Yokosuka Base <strong>will not be held on the same day as the fireworks festival in 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors will also <strong>not be able to watch the fireworks from inside U.S. Navy Yokosuka Base<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be <strong>no paid viewing seats<\/strong> for the 2026 fireworks festival.
