Gifu Castle

Gifu Castle was captured by Nobunaga Oda during the Sengoku (Warring States) Period.
Oda became the lord of the castle and the castle's name was changed from Inabayama Castle to Gifu Castle.
The castle's tower, which is celebrated as a symbol of Gifu City, was restored in 1956.
The interior of the castle tower is used as an exhibition room for historical items, and there is a popular observation deck on the top floor.
