Michinoeki (Roadside Station) Munakata
Fresh fish nurtured in the cold, rough seas called “Genkai-nada” are sold here, as well as agricultural products grown in Munakata’s blessed nature.
There are a variety of stores, including a bread shop called “Himenoho” which specializes in rice flour bread made from rice harvested in Munakata and Fukutsu cities, a restaurant called “Ofukuro Shokudo Hamayu” which uses ingredients harvested from Munakata, and the “Munakata Kanko Souvenirs Shop” which sells specialty products.
You can enjoy a picnic on a newly created lawn square.
