Large Greenhouse

The large greenhouse was renewed and reopened in May 2016; there are sections such as a tropical flower and tree room, a tropical water lily room and a begonia room.
Rare plants were collected from around the world. Our new greenhouse holds about 1,300 varieties of breeds.
In January 2015, we signed a partnership agreement with “Viña del Mar Botanic Garden” in Chile and newly set up a section of Chilean plants.
We also expanded sections of valuable arid plants such as cacti, as well as sections of plants from the Ogasawara Islands that were designated as a World Natural Heritage Site.
We also newly set up a section of carnivorous plants, so you can enjoy seeing rare plants from around the world throughout the year.
