A samurai residence during the last years of the Edo period
It is the samurai residence of the Tadotsu Domain JInya encampment, which remains in Kachu.
It was built throughout the last years of the Edo period, since 1828 (the 11th year of the Bunsei era).
It conveys the style and outward appearance of samurai residences of those days.
