Enoshima Island

Enoshima Island is a small island located in Fujisawa 400m away from land and has a circumference of approximately 5km and a height above sea level of approximately 60m.
Since a long time ago, due to the popularity of Benzaiten, it has been bustling with many people, and it has also been depicted in numerous ukiyo-e prints due to its nature, history, and traditions.
On clear days, you can gaze at the beautiful Mount Fuji across the sea, and during low tide, the tombolo phenomenon occurs, connecting Enoshima to the opposite shore by land.
