Kokubun-ji Temple (29th Temple of the Shikoku Pilgrimage)

The temple is one of the two pilgrimage sites in Nankoku that are part of the 88 pilgrimage temples in Shikoku.
It offers beautiful spectacles of flowers blossoming across all four seasons.
The weeping cherry blossoms at Kokubun-ji Temple are a sight to behold—attracting pilgrims and tourists alike in spring.
Wheelchair users can also access and worship before the main hall from parking lot #2. Enjoy a view of the temple's gardens with some matcha tea and snacks at the Otera Cafe in the reception hall.
You can also experience Hands-on Sutra Copying—from a selection of full-length sutras to those that you can transcribe in a small amount of time.
