Hashirimizu Shrine
This is a Shinto shrine dedicated to Yamato Takeru no Mikoto and Oto Tachibana Hime no Mikoto as deities.
There is a legend that, when Yamato Takeru no Mikoto was trying to cross from Hashirimizu to Kazusa on a boat, in a critical moment when the sea was raging and threatening to capsize the boat, Oto Tachibana Hime no Mikoto threw herself into the sea and calmed it.
In connection with this legend, it is popular with women as a shrine that confers benefits such as love fulfillment and marriage.
