Mt. Futago (Yokoze futagoyama)

Twin-peaked “male” and “female” summits above Ashigakubo

Located just south of Seibu Railway Ashigakubo Station, Mt. Futago is a twin-peaked mountain (882.7m) with a female and a male summit.
From the male summit, which is marked by a triangulation point, you can look down over the Chichibu Basin and enjoy a close-up view of Mt. Buko.

There is another rocky mountain called Mt. Futago elsewhere in the Chichibu area, so this one is commonly referred to as Yokoze Futagoyama to distinguish it.
