Year-round special exhibitions—and a serene garden worth a stroll.

Niimi Museum of Art presents a varied program of special exhibitions throughout the year.
Its collection includes about 1,200 works, featuring the literati painter Tomioka Tessai and leading nihonga artists such as Yokoyama Taikan and Hirayama Ikuo.
The museum also occasionally showcases materials on the medieval estate “Bitchū no Kuni Niimi-no-Shō,” offering insight into regional history (not a permanent display).
After the galleries, the garden provides a quiet place to unwind.
