The Cattle Museum

The Cattle Museum is Japan’s only registered museum specialized on cattle.
Here you can learn about the history of Maesawa beef, which is known as top-class beef from Japan.
Various valuable material is exhibited here, including the fossils of a wild cow and records about ethnic groups with deep ties to cattle.
There is also a specimen of a cow’s stomach.
