The Mitake gorge promenade
The Mitake gorge promenade is a 4 km walking pass that is arranged around JR Mitake Station and on both sides of Tamagawa River.
You can explore the area while looking at the fresh green leaves in spring or enjoying the coolness of summer or the colored leaves in autumn.
It takes about 2 hours to walk from the fishing center in the upper area, through Mitake Museum, Gyokudo Art Museum, Mitake bridge, Kanzan-ji Temple, Ozawa Shuzo and Kushikanzashi Museum before reaching Ikusabata Station in the lower area. Please enjoy walking along the river and visiting Ome's sightseeing spots.
