Mt. Myogi

Mt. Myogi is one of the so-called "Three Wonders of Japan".
It's known for its gorgeous natural backdrop formed by a rough, rocky surface.
Sightseers can catch cherry blossoms during the spring and changing leaves when fall comes around.
The paths that tour the stone gates are a popular hike for tourists looking to get an up close view of the rocky surface.
There are expert level paths with chains at the stone gates, but there are also beginner friendly paths in addition to those.

*Rocks have fallen near stone gate no. 4, so that particular section of the hiking path is closed off. The path from Nakanotake Shrine up to the viewing platform is open.
