Nishiyama Park (Nishiyama Zoo)

Nishiyama Park is the best place to view azaleas on the Sea of Japan coast with over 50,000 azaleas that bloom each year.
The park is home to various events throughout the year based on the four seasons such as the Azalea Festival, Maple Festival, and Snow Festa, making it a lively place that attracts many people.
Within the park, Nishiyama Zoo, known as "the smallest zoo in Japan, has a collection of animals including red-crowned cranes, squirrel monkeys and lesser pandas.
The Lesser Panda House opened in 2016, where you can enjoy viewing the life of a lesser panda up close.
