Old Uryu House
Located within the precincts of the Shinmeisha Shrine, this building, built around the 12th year of Genroku (1699), is designated a nationally important cultural property as the oldest existing private house in the prefecture.
The Shimeisha Shrine is known as Karasugamori (Raven Forest) as it is covered in huge and old trees that create an atmosphere that makes you feel as if you have traveled back in time.
