Mori no Station Kameoka
This is an exhibition and hands-on facility to provide information on the attractions in the region.
The facility is comprised of “Takumi Village” and “Chorogi-mura”.
The “Takumi Village” introduces a wide variety of genres of “Takumi (artisanship),” exhibits valuable natural grindstones, and allows visitors to try sharpening using natural grindstones. At the herbal restaurant “Ouchi Yakuzen Wasurena” run by the “Chorogi-mura”, home-made herbal cuisines good for the mind and body can be enjoyed.
In the premise, medicinal herbs to be used at the restaurant are cultivated in the field, where it is possible to observe seasonal plants and flowers.
