Ukishima Wetlands
It is a high-rise wetland of about 700 hectares, 850 meters above sea level, scattered with swamps of various sizes, some of which have floating islands (Ukishima) formed by the roots of the wetland's grass, hence its name.
There are thought to be very few of these floating islands in Japan.
