Tsukuriyama Burial Mound

The Tsukuriyama burial mound is a three-tiered keyhole-shaped tumulus, the tenth largest of its kind in Japan and the second largest in Okayama, with a total length of 282m and height of 24m.
It was built in the mid-5th century.
It is thought to be the tomb of an ancient chieftain of Kibi.
The mound has been designated as a national historic site.
