Wakuike Pond
The pond boasts the largest amount of spring water and the best scenery in Oshino Hakkai.
It is a representative pond of Oshino Hakkai, with abundant spring water from an underwater cave made of diatomaceous earth, which sways the eelgrass.
In 1983, water from this Wakuike Pond was used in an experiment to make snow in space.
