Atami Baien Plum Garden

This historic garden opened in 1886 and can be enjoyed in all four seasons of the year, with its plum festival from early January to early March, brightly colored spring leaves and fireflies from May to June, and its maple festival from mid-November to early December.
The garden is famous for having Japan’s earliest blossoming plum trees and the last leaves in Japan to change to their fall colors.
