Hashiriyu

One of Japan's three largest ancient springs, Hashiriyu was discovered about 1,300 years ago.
The name Hashiriyu, or “running springs” is inspired by the waters that gush forth from the mountain and run quickly down towards the coast.
Even today at Hashiriyu, visitors can enjoy the mysterious sight of 170 liters/minute of hot water gushing forth from a five-meter deep cave.
