Murayama Sengen-jinja Shrine

It once flourished as a base for mountain ascetics, with a trail extending from the Mt. Fuji Hongu Sengentaisha Shrine through Murayama to the summit of the mountain, and it is a place that was a center for religious mountaineering.

* The Murayama Sengen-jinja Shrine Tourist Information Center is open only on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (10:00am to 3:00pm).
