Yoshidaguchi Climbing Trail

Yoshidaguchi Climbing Trail

This is an ancient climbing trail starting at the Tozanmon gate in Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen-jinja Shrine and extending to the summit of Mt. Fuji.
It is the main road of Mt. Fuji worship, where believers clad in white used to walk in single file, and teahouses and shrines used to stand side by side.
Up to the fifth station, groups of valuable historical sites are scattered among the rich forest greenery of Mt. Fuji.
It is a climbing trail where you can get a real feeling of the history of the faith carved into Mt. Fuji step by step.
The recommended time to reach the fifth station is from June to October.

* During the climbing season, a bus will run to Umagaeshi on the way.
