Lake Tanuki (Diamond Fuji)

At Lake Tanuki, which is located in a corner of the vast Asagiri Kogen Plateau at the western foot of Mt. Fuji, visitors can enjoy various activities such as camping, boating, hiking, cycling, and fishing in the blessed natural environment with the magnificent Mt. Fuji in the background.
Further, the summit of Mt. Fuji and the morning sun coincide, and this is a famous place for a shining Diamond Fuji, which can be seen for a week before and after April 20 and August 20 if weather conditions are favorable.
The Diamond Fuji at Lake Tanuki is called a Double Diamond Fuji because it is reflected on the surface of the lake, attracting many spectators and photographers.
