Shiraito-no-Taki Waterfall

The nearly 150-meter drop of the waterfall, which cascades down the rock face, looks like sparkling white silk threads.
Located in Kamikurechi, Fujiyoshida City, it is fed by spring water from the Mitsutoge Pass.
In the surrounding area, visitors can see the 33 Kannon Bodhisattvas, a group of oddly shaped rocks that are associated with the legend of Nichiren, a monk active in the Kamakura period and the founder of the Nichiren sect of Kamakura Buddhism, as well as numerous wild grasses and flowers.
