Inokashira Onshi Park

This is a Tokyo metropolitan park that opened in the Taisho period (1912-1926).
At Inokashira Pond in the park, visitors can enjoy the sight of waterfowls such as migrant birds coming by.
Also, on the west of the bond, there is Inokashira Benzaiten (Sarasvati) Shrine.
In the Edo period, it was worshiped by people as the god of the source of the Kanda Josui (clean water) as well as the god of public entertainment.
The area was popular as a holiday resort for townspeople in Edo.
