Akashi Municipal Planetarium

This museum features the theme of “Time and the Universe” and is located at 135 degrees east longitude.
From adults to children alike, anyone can enjoy learning about the stars in our sky and the universe through the displays in this museum, located in this town that exists on a meridian line.
You can listen to commentary made by specialists about the stars in the sky while viewing a planetarium projector which has been operated for the longest amount of time in Japan.
From the observation room on the14th floor, you can view the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge as well as the downtown area of Akashi.
