Kuehiko Jinja Shrine

Kuehiko Jinja Shrine is a part of Omiwa Shrine, and it is also one of the few shrines in Japan that worship the deity Kuehiko.
Believed to "know about many things all over the world," Kuehiko is worshipped as a god of scholarship and wisdom.
At this shrine, you can see many votive wooden tablets called, "gankake-ema," used to pray for passing school entrance exams or finding jobs.
