Central Alps Komagatake Ropeway
The Komagatake Ropeway leads to Senjojiki Cirque directly below Mount Hoken (2,931m above sea level).
It is Japan’s first alpine ropeway.
It is operated throughout the year.
The last stop, Senjojiki Station, has the highest elevation among all railway stations, to include those of aerial tramways, in Japan.
