Doryunotaki Waterfall

Doryunotaki has a Japanese-garden-like appearance, slightly different from waterfalls that give fierce and dynamic impressions.
It is called “the waterfall from a dragon’s mouth,” based on the mystical look of silk-string-like streams of water emerging between rocks covered in green.

●Access: 【By car】 About 20 minutes from Nagasaka IC of the Chuo Expressway.
Turn left at a sign saying, “Doryunotaki,” which will appear around the top of a slope ahead of Yatsugatake Kogen Ohashi (“Yellow Bridge”) on Prefectural Road 28. The waterfall is about 10 minutes by foot from the parking lot.
*Once off Road 28, the road becomes narrow; only standard-size or smaller vehicles can pass.

【By train】Take the JR Koumi Line to Kiyosato Station. Take the “Kiyosato Picnic Bus” (operates during a limited time of the year) and get off at “Doryunotaki Iriguchi (Entrance).” Walk about 25 minutes.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi to Doryunotaki’s parking lot from either Kai-Oizumi Station or Kiyosato Station. The ride takes about 10 minutes.
