Mt. Kyogatake
Rising 2,296 meters above sea level, Mt. Kyogatake is counted among the 200 Famous Japanese Mountains and is a symbol of the village.
In May, a highly-challenging, trail-running race called “Kyogatake Vertical Limit” is held, and many people participate.
Entrants race up and down an elevational difference of 1,500 meters in one day.
