Ogo-ji Temple

A neglected village temple that was rebuilt by Mokujiki Ogo, a benefactor to the founding of temples in Hashimoto.
Priest Ogo was a founder of the restoration of Koya, and saved Koya from Toyotomi Hideyoshi's conquest of Kishu.
Priest Ogo opened towns in this region and built a bridge over the river Ki.
This is the origin of Hashimoto's name.
It's about a five-minute walk from Hashimoto station.
