Dangyokei Gorge

A gorge valley created by the Nigori River, a distributory of the Gonokawa River carving away the rhyolite rock.
The spring boasts cherry blossoms, azaleas, and fresh green leaves. Summer is marked by coolness and sweetfish jumping in the small waterfalls.
In the autumn there are beautiful fall colors, and winter brings scenes that appear is if out of ancient paintings, so that visitors can enjoy the area at any time of year.
