Migukuru Mitama jinja shrine

The Migukuru Mitama jinja shrine is located at the eastern foot of the Habikino Hills and has been the local deity of the former Ishikawa County since ancient times.
According to the legend of the shrine, the shrine was built in the 10th year of the Emperor Sujin, and the precincts of the shrine forest of about 33,000 square meters are very green and dense.
This shrine has always been worshipped as the god of marriage and the guardian deity of waterways by local farmers.
The place is especially lively during the autumn festival in October (the third Saturday and Sunday in October) as a portable shrine (currently children's portable shrine) passes by and danjiri carts are pulled to celebrate a plentiful harvest.
