Nishikori jinja Shrine
The main deities of Nishikori jinja Shrine are Susanoo, Homudawake-no-mikoto, and Sugawara no Michizane, who are believed to have been enshrined as guardian deities of this area, which was called Nishikibe-go in ancient times.
The main shrine and the two main shrines are national important cultural properties.
The "Nishikiori-zukuri" style of the main shrine, which combines karafukaze and chidori-zukaze, is said to have influenced Nikko Toshogu Shrine.
