Kanegasakigu Shrine
The shrine enshrines two princes of Emperor Godaigo (Imperial Princes Takanaga and Tsunenaga), who died a violent death after taking refuge in Kanegasaki-jo Castle.
Many people visit the shrine as a shrine of love to pray for fulfillment in love because there is a story in Taiheiki that Imperial Prince Takanaga got married to Princess Mikushige with whom he fell in love for many years.
In spring, “a thousand cherry trees” blossom in the shrine, which is known as the best place to see the cherry blossoms.
