Osaka Orange Picking Center

You can try out picking tangerines at Osaka Orange Picking Center from October 1 until January 5.
About 8000 tangerine trees grow on an extensive property of four hectares.
By paying the 500-yen admission fee, you are entitled to eat as many tangerines as you can without a time limit. And by paying an extra 500 yen, you can pack as many as you can to take home (this offer is for a limited period)!
You can also directly buy tangerines, and you can buy handmade “konnyaku*” and locally produced persimmons here as gifts or souvenirs.

* The Konnyaku (yam cake) is made from the corm and being cooked and consumed primarily in Japan.
