Okusa Castle Ruins

Okusa Castle Ruins is a park at the trace of the main castle of the Kosaka clan who protected Prince Munenaga, the eighth son of Emperor Godaigo, during the Nanboku-cho period (1336-1392).
A total of more than two hundred cherry trees of over ten types, beginning with someiyoshino and Edo-higan-zakura, are planted here, making it possible to appreciate cherry blossoms over a longer part of spring.
The cherry blossoms compose a wonderful sight with the leftover snow of the Central Alps in the background, making this location popular among photographers.
Playground equipment such as slides attract many families with children, and you can also play mallet golf here.
