Shitoku Onsen

Shitoku Onsen, believed to have been founded 450 years ago, has been a favorite balneotherapy destination among people over the ages.
The water is the skin-beautifying water drawn entirely from the spring source even today.
The water has a high alkalinity of pH 10.4, making it one of the most alkaline hot springs in Japan.
Shitoku Onsen is also considered one of the best hot springs in Ina Valley.
*For the month of September, in addition to the weekends, Shitoku Onsen is open on an every-other-day basis on weekdays (Tuesdays and Thursdays of the first and second weeks; Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays of the third week; from 11 AM to 7 PM).
