Kaike Onsen (Hot Spring)

Kaike Onsen is located at the east end of the Yumigahama Peninsula.
It is a hot spring resort commanding a view of the beautiful coastline of white sand and green pines facing Miho Bay in the Sea of Japan and Mt. Daisen, the highest peak in the Chugoku region.
From ancient times, it was said that among fisherpersons, they found hot water welling up in the sea when they dived in the waters off the coast.
A flowing spring was found in the Meiji period (1868-1912).
The spring quality is a salt spring containing sodium, calcium, and chloride.
Kaike Onsen is located at a convenient place for a tour of Tottori and Shimane in the Sanin region.
The hot spring resort is best suited as a base for sightseeing when you take a tour of the Sanin region.
